With each and every post, we strive here at Creative Tempest to bring you only the best artists from around the world. This post comes to you all the way from Orange County, California, with our artist being none other than Randy and Erin from He&She Photography. Randy and Erin are a married couple who both come from creative family backgrounds. Erin, coming from a family of artists, has her bachelors of fine arts degree in creative photography. Randy who was a graphic designer has his bachelors of fine arts in graphic design. They both bring their creative expertise together to form a photography style that can best be described as “photojournalism meets quirky fashion photography. We are very influenced by the aesthetics of fashion photography, yet our unobtrusive approach enables us to create a documentary of your wedding from an insider’s perspective”. We, at Creative Tempest, love how their snapshots really capture that love-at-first-sight feel. They are candid, real and really focus on those moments of life that are usually otherwise lost. Actually, they’re really SOTA Dzine and Studio ThisIs, OVEREXPOSED is simply their “Palace of Justice” where they all meet together and share their photography escapades. Simply Bloom Photography

With each and every post, we strive here at Creative Tempest to bring you only the best artists from around the world. This post comes to you from the deep-southern state of Alabama, with our artists being professional photographers Vania and Christine. Vania and Christine are two best-friends who decided to take their style and creativity to the next level and meld them into Simply Bloom Photography. Perhaps their secret weapon lies in their “unique, aesthetic vision” which is “founded by our European nationalities, German and Italian, which are reflected in our elite photographic style: German minimalism blended with Italian femininity.” They have been featured in many popular wedding magazines such as Atlanta Brides, Southern Weddings, Unveiled, The Knot, and Southern Bride. What’s truly amazing about Simply Bloom is their soft tones in their photos, making every photo look clean. You’ll also notice that there isn’t a single shadow in any of their pictures; nothing short of magic is what makes this possible. Jan Steinhilber is like a master thief, but instead of sneaking into places and taking things from where they belong, he sneaks into places and puts things where they don’t belong. Like leaving behind a token that says, “I’ve been here,” but without disrupting anything else, a master thief with a sense of humor. Jan combines slick design and photography into his works that all seem like they should be real, but can’t possibly be. Sneaking into our ordinary lives to add a dash of the unexpected.

Robert Maschke is a world famous game trapper, and he’s captured some of the planet’s fiercest creatures. Robert slowly stalks, breathing lightly, taking care not to be seen. Then suddenly he bursts forth snapping away with his camera like it were a net cast over his prey, trapping them in a moment of power and intensity. Robert Maschke’s photographs portray an intensity in his subject that is fascinating. An intimate and up close look into the eyes of the people he photographs reveals the power in all of his wonderfully rendered subjects.

Amelia Lyon advertises that you can hire them for event photography, but they are really underwater nature photographers. Their work captures intimate couples up close, driven together by inevitable natural desire, in a world of watery luminescence: tropical kissing fish. The sun flares into their photography like light breaking the surface of a shallow tropical sea lapping a sandy shore, giving you the feeling that you and the people in the photo are completely immersed. This poetry in their work takes their wedding/ couples’ photography to a higher level, beyond the stuff the job suggests, and that is why Creative Tempest returns with them, because they are artists finding a new way.
