* Dan Mumford

Dan Mumford rockets through a dark backwoods highway. The curiosity in the eyes of opossums, and raccoons reflects back with the headlights of his convertible as it pieces the night like a shining hole in a black canopy. The top is down, and into the air he sings along shouting,

“Gimme a head with hair, long beautiful hair, shining, gleaming, streaming, flaxen, waxen. Give me down to there hair, shoulder length or longer. Here baby, there mama everywhere daddy daddy. Hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair!”

Flowing hair envelopes the bulk of Dan Mumford’s work. It ties together not only each individual work, but his work as a whole, and for his constant vision Dan Mumford is Creative Tempest’s newest artist of the week.

    hello from Mexico

  3. Nice but not the best, it all looks a little too confused, infact it looks good in places ,but the work does remind me a little of vomit on a patterned rug, or the work of a completely computer literate angsty 15 year old!!!!. Overall I am usually easily pleased but this is not up to scratch.:(

  4. I don’t know what UKarts is talking about. I think that this work it\s truely amazing and utterly inspiring.Iamplanning my 7th form art folioaround Dan’s stuff and getting inked with his pictures. Tahnkyou Danfor creating these amazing images

  5. Indeed, UKarts has probably vomited on one too many patterned rugs to recognize art at it’s best. I especially like the sea themed works, like the album covers for Gallows with the sharks. Extremely creative, exciting and inspiring work, awesome!

  6. Truly a visual force to be reckoned with. Mumford is ahead of his time and the main man in digital dark art.

  7. I would like to ask how much that proposal would become a T-shirt? Or the ones you have here if I wanted to have them printed on shirts.
