Portrait painting will never die. No matter how simple it has become to snap a photo and with your digital camera and ‘print’ right to the web, an artist like Kyle Lambert proves there is still and will always be a fascination with how a face is rendered painstakingly by the hand of a master, and to make things modern he has taken the form out of oil painting or graphite and made it digital to show that though the tools have changed the talent hasn’t.
